Project Overview
Elephant Talk is a project conceived by Maghweb in collaboration with Impact Hub Labs, Polylogos and Young Educators and funded by EACEA under the CERV programme, Citizen Involvement and Participation line. In collaboration with socioeducational animators, the initiative includes a series of structured activities to stimulate a critical understanding of misogynistic hate speech as a systemic European phenomenon.
Skill and Tools Building
An international itinerant training in Italy and Greece for socio-educational animators on the collection and visualization of “gender-sensitive” data and different aspects of misogynistic hate online.
National Mirror Actions
National data collection with young citizens and socio-educational animators on the phenomenon of misogynistic hate online.
Dialogues with EU Parliament
Activating a lively dialogue between young Europeans and members of the European Parliament in Brussels on how to counter misogynistic hate speech.
